The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, January 30 reveals Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Devon Winters (Bryton James) will learn who kidnapped their son.
Also coming up, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will try to talk some sense into Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Plus, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will confide in Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn). And Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will head out on the road with Dominic Winters (Ethan Ray Clark).
Y&R spoilers tease Nick will limp into the GCAC restaurant, leaning on his cane. He’ll spot Phyllis and she’ll tell him he looks better than the last time she saw him. Nick will say the last time he saw her, he warned her about ruining his family’s business.
But Phyllis won’t be about to take his insults or argue with him. “I’ve tried to look past the selfish nature of your character but I cannot believe how callous and heartless you are,” Nick will say. “It’s a sad but honest observation about someone I used to love.”
Y&R Daily Scoop – Sharon Tells Her Their Bond Is Out The Window
They’ll argue and Sharon will show up. “What is the difference between what you are doing to Nicholas’ family and what Martin did to us?” she’ll ask Phyllis. “How dare you compare me to that psychopath,” she’ll reply.
Sharon will say that their bond is completely out the window. Later, after Nick tells Phyllis she’s alienated her daughter and he himself is finished with her, she’ll try to call Summer. But she won’t pick up. Then she’ll send Phyllis a text. “Don’t call me again.”
On Cane’s train, he’ll tell Billy the contracts are ready for him to have Chancellor. But Billy won’t look happy and he’ll tell Cane his mother’s taken a turn for the worse. Billy will say he’s worried that if she finds out he’s taking over Chancellor it could make everything worse.
Cane will ask if he wants him to hand everything back to the Newmans. Billy will say no, they should just hold off making any announcements. Talk will turn to relationships and Cane will wonder if they’re both destined to spend their lives alone. Billy will remind him he’s got Phyllis. “That’s not love,” Cane will reply.
At the Chancellor estate, Abby will tell Devon she was up all night. “All I want is for my baby to come home.” They’ll discuss the security camera’s blind spot, so they have no idea who took him. Devon will point out Dom was holding the person’s hand and didn’t seem scared.
“Is it possible that someone we know took our son?” Abby will ask. The couple will decide to go out for a coffee and they’ll run into Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei). He’ll ask where their little guy is and Abby will start crying.
Daniel will ask if he said something wrong. “It’s okay,” Devon will reply. “You didn’t know.” Abby will say someone took Dom and they have no idea where he is. Daniel will ask if they have any clues and Devon will show him a photo of the scarf they found outside.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Mariah Sees Cop Car In Rearview Mirror
“Let me see that,” Tessa will say and she’ll look at the picture. She’ll gasp and say it’s not possible. Devon will ask if she’s seen the scarf before. “I gave it to Mariah for Christmas two years ago,” Tessa will reply. Abby will admit it would be a huge relief if it was Mariah and Devon will ask Tessa why she would take Dom.
“Mariah hasn’t been right for a while,” she’ll reply. Tessa will say she checked herself into a facility but left. She’ll check the family tracking app and say Mariah’s still in Florida. Then Devon will get a call. A child matching Dom’s description was seen leaving a local motel with a woman. So, he and Abby will take off.
Meanwhile, Mariah will tell Dom they’re heading to their next hiding spot and he’ll grin. She’ll say they need to run out to the car really fast, so no one will notice them. Dom will ask if they can give his mom and dad a hint so they can find him. “I will take of everything,” Mariah will reply.
She’ll lie and say she just texted his mom and dad a hint of where they are going next. As they leave the motel room, Mariah won’t notice Dom dropped one of his gloves. Once they’re on the road, they’ll play a game of I spy.
Dom will look behind him and say he spies with his little eye something black. Mariah will be confused, until she looks in the rearview mirror. “Police car,” she’ll say. “You guessed it!” Dom will reply. But the police car will go drive by them.
Finally, Devon and Abby will arrive at the motel and the policewoman will hand Abby the mitten. She’ll tear up and say it’s Dom’s. Abby and Devon will see the security footage and he’ll say he recognizes the woman with his son, it’s Mariah Copeland.
